Another reason why I sincerely dislike dynamic queue
Just got out of a match where I was against 2 players who were gold last season (though, they were Silver 1 and Silver 5 currently) and then 3 players who were bronze last season and are currently unranked. From the club tags, at least 4 of them were queuing together. I don't look up the elo of most players I play against, win or lose. In fact it's something I almost never do at all (at least currently). But after this match, someone on their team said, "lol 4 S's on the team." Turns out 4 players on my team were Season 5 silver (and currently silver) with the remaining player being bronze 1.
The result is rather predictable. Two of their players ran around the map killing everything while the other three were just kind of there.
This is not an isolated incident, either. It seems more and more common in my native lane on the bottom of the map where their support seems much more highly skilled than the average player at my elo where their adc is awful, or vice versa. This isn't just about winning or losing, but rather the massive disparity of skill level in a game mode where everyone I play should be roughly on par with myself.
I mean, what does it mean to be low silver if I'm randomly playing against people who are all the way from unranked to low gold depending on who their friends are.
