Does anyone have any suggestions/advice on what to do?

So after some time has passed, the bot lane has changed a lot. And I will say that it's for the better because I like diversity.

Now i'm not a Marksman main by any means, however I only play Varus because he's the only Marksman that I love to play.

Now what I need some advice or suggestions on is where can I play him? This is a problem with Marksman that they are constantly sticked to the Bot Lane because they weren't that viable in any other lane. But even that has changed now...

It makes me sad because I feel like I can't play my favourite champion anymore. Picking him in any other lane will be bad because of rough matchups (there are a lot of them) and if I go bot as him my team-mates often accuse me of "trolling" now because I don't pick someone like Irelia.
