TFT, its fun. But heres why it sucks.

Experienced players who understand the game. The comps, the builds, how to build interest, how to spend how not to spend, how to build items.... Regularly lose to people who have played it less than 5 times and have no idea whats going on. RNG is fine, I understand there has to be RNG in this genre.

BUT if experienced players who know what they are doing, reliably CANNOT beat completely new players because of RNG....Then that means the game is WAY too RNG based.

Gotta tune down that RNG, and maybe youll have yourself a solid game mode here.

RNG isnt the problem imo, sure items are stronger than the other chess games but I can tell you exactly what the problem is right now.

  1. WAY too many of 1 cost champs in the pool. Wild/noble get 3 stars very quickly, garen is incredibly strong for a 1 cost as well.
  2. Nobles in general are too strong, once you get the 6th its impossible to lose, (ive completed nobles in 6 games and won them all)
  3. Draven is just an overtuned monstrosity, he will 1v7 if he gets his ability off and has a rageblade/bloodthirster.

Diversify the pool early on making other build paths more accessible while watering down the early nobles/wild nerf draven and cut noble buff down 25% and id say this would be the most balance/best chess game.

The only RNG that is a problem is when you get no items from PvE rounds or just 1 while others get 3+ items from the same round.

Other than that they should have zero issues beating new players.
