Why do i keep seeing yi top in bronze?

Is this a thing now or is it just because this is bronze? It hasnt been working, eery one ive seen has fed and or lost with

yi gets more farm top, plus once he gets item 3153 and is level 6 he can generally duel most toplaners, dodging skillshots w/ Q, plus hes a good split pusher.

because bronze players think that yas,kat,zed,and yi and are god like champions with no counter play so someone thought that if yi is a good jungler (in bronze) he must be amazing top

I am play Yi top, mid and jungle

For starters Yi can shred tanks. Later he can decide either to split push or join teamfights Similar to many top laners like Tryndamere, Singed, Jax and so on Yi will attract lots of attention and put lots of pressure to his opponents. If they ignore him he will destroy inhibitor and now the enemy has to send people with damage to defend the nexus from Super Minions

Also Yi is probably the tankiest glass cannon in the game that can also can go a bit tanky

He is a 450 champ and new players that jump straight into ranked get bronze.

It is just because this is Bronze. Yi is really easy to counter once you know how to do it, but he can steal away a game easily if people don't know how to react, so he gets played a lot in lower Elos, even in off meta lanes. Yi top is definitely not a thing.
