@Meddler: What are your current thoughts pertaining to Sightstone and Ruby Sightstone?

With all the buffs being given to trinkets, and how gold-efficient Greater Stealth Totem has become, Sightstone and RSS are feeling kinda... obsolete when it comes to keeping vision on the map. Since Sightstone and RSS don't recharge unless you return to base, trinkets always feel better.

Is there anything about Sightstone and RSS that you'd like to do in the near future? Maybe give them some form of in-field recharging?

Personally, I would love to see multiple sightstone upgrades.

Like give Ruby sightstone some armor / more hp for the tanky supports.

An amethyst sightstone that gives mana regen and AP for the utility supports.

And a saphire sightstone that gives AP and spell penetration for the Carry supports like Zyra Velkoz

They would probably have to increase the price on the upgrades though.

Riot stated that Ruby Sightstone is made inefficient on purpose because if the item was good then supports would spend even longer waiting until they can't branch past their 3 "required" items to play support.

I know, I made that topic on Reddit. And to be specific, it was Xypherous who said that RSS is intentionally a sucky upgrade.

But I'd like to see whether or not Meddler thinks upgrading both Sightstone and Ruby Sightstone to have in-field ward recharging might be a viable update for them.
