Why isn't Soraka removed from the F2P rotation, Riot?

I remember old Yorick was removed from the rotation because Riot viewed his kit as a mistake and cancerous onto the game's health. He remained like this until he received his overhaul, and I vaguely believe it was the same for old Poppy.

Why not Soraka? She's in a similar boat. Riot views her kit as cancer (which is true) and refuse to so much as give a minor lore update. Also her designer was fired a long time ago.

It's just a matter of time before the VGU but, until then, why is she still in the F2P rotation? Fairly often at that too.

Old Yorick was removed from the free-to-play rotation because his kit was considered not fun to play with or against.

I want you to show me, specifically, where Riot said that they view Soraka's kit as "cancer". I'll very patiently wait for that.

Soraka is actually pretty healthy right now, has clear strengths and weaknesses and I'd argue is in the best place she's been since Season 1. Remember old Soraka? I used to play her top... want to see people get tilted? Watch what happens when you have a point and click silence and a spammable AoE MR Shred, reliable source of damage every second. I kind of miss old Soraka, but I know that she's much healthier now.

I haven't heard Riot say that Soraka's kit is cancer. Do you have a link to a reddit/nexus/news/board post that I could read? I'd be curious on their explanation on why it is cancerous.

Also, Riot is now a corporate entity like EA. They will not openly call a champion cancer, but you can tell what they think by the game's direction.

Making things up sure is fun, but here in the 21st century with our fancy search engines and whatnot it's pretty easy to spot bullshit.

Taken out of context.
That was written in 2010!
Soraka wasn't even close to the same champion she is now comparatively.
Nowhere in those posts did I see the word "cancer" used.

Yorick was removed from the FTP rotation because of his level of difficulty being to high for standard players, it had nothing to do with his kit being cancer. If you didn't know how to use him properly then he would be 100% useless garbage. Soraka is far easier to use and is a basic champion for new players to learn off of.

If Riot removed champions just from just a cancer aspect then we would never see any of these champions in F2P rotation : Ahri Caitlyn Darius Draven Fiora Fizz Graves Ivern Jayce Katarina LeeSin Lulu Pantheon Riven Shaco Singed Syndra Vayne Yasuo Zed Zyra

wrong, wrong, and wrong. Yorick pre rework was removed because his kit was simply unfun to play against. I mean he just shoved you under tower the whole game with little to no counterplay.

Soraka is unfun to play against.

Grievous Wounds exists as a game mechanic because of Soraka alone. Think about that!

If you just shoved people under tower as old Yorick you were laning as him completely wrong. If you pushed up then not only where you locking yourself out of CS, but old Yorick couldn't roam and was extremely weak to being ganked. The best way to lane as old Yorick was the slow and steady poke-out game. And before you try replying calling me wrong about old Yorick again, were you a Rank 5 of old Yorick like I was? No? Then don't even try.
