"It calculates your mmr not your rank." So you're saying I play like gold and thus deserve it? "No, you're silver trash" So why am i playing against golds, plats, and occasionally daimonds? "Because the system calculates your teams mmr dumbass" So instead of using rank, something is usually a good representation of your overall performance over extended periods of time, you're saying it judges you by your mmr, something that is determined by your past 20 games and not at all at your average skill level? "Yes" So even though I have a 35-45% winrate the game finds it necessary to put me against people with significantly greater skill level? Why should we use a system that allows that? "You should stop complaining. We all had to struggle at one point and we didn't have trouble grinding out." etc etc
This is usually how my conversation goes when I bring it up. Granted this accurate of everyone but out of the people I've talked to, there's a lot more name calling and swearing. I just wanna know why this feels like it happens so much.
You can go op.gg my profile too. There's almost always at least one or two people in gold or plat and then every so often i get games where the game is decided with plats vs plats.
Edit: I only have recent screenshots of normal games. But I stopped playing ranked BECAUSE this was happening too often. Either way this shouldn't really happen at all even in normals. Kinda fucked up to say that people who don't play ranked shouldn't get even teams just because they're in normals.
