Thunderlords is probably the reason people hate masteries right now
do you even get thunderlords proc on you then not get tilted like its not fun to play against it just gives champions with burst more burst.

NotSpecialDude1 votesIf this was the beginning of season 6 I might have agreed with you but as of now, Thunderlords isn't really source of peoples problems with masteries.
The issue, I feel, is that the key stone masteries discourage some of the more, varied set ups as the good masteries are definitively at the end of each tree. Spreading your points evenly or trying to get points in all three trees locks you out of the better options deeper in and could cost you immensely.
