Soften LP Losses from AFK! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

More so recently I've decided to play a lot more league to to try to meet my end of season goal of getting tier 5 of the next rank And it's been a recurring thing where if someone on the team decides to afk 30 minutes in it makes it exponentially harder for the other 4 to secure objectives/kills or win the game but in the end you still suffer the same LP loss as you would if you lost the 5v5 fairly

So I was thinking; What exactly is stopping Riot from implementing a Softened LP Loss system where if someone goes AFK 25 minutes in you'd lose a little less LP and the AFK'er would take that much more?

EXAMPLE: On a team of 5 Players : 1 2 3 4 5

Player 3 goes AFK; but with this system, not only does he get the AFK penalty but instead of losing (16?) LP for that game, he loses 19, while Players 1,2,4 and 5 lose 13 LP instead of 16 LP for that game

So basically **Penalty Count: **

  • Player 3: AFK Penalty + Slightly harsher LP loss (-19 LP)

  • Players 1 2 4 5: Slightly softened LP Loss (-13 LP)

THIS IS NOT A REMAKE OPTION I'm aware that this is a very small thing and probably will have very little effect but I do not believe I am alone when I say that losing 13 LP feels, not better, but a little less tilting than 16 LP than someone who's been AFK for the (close to the) entirety of the game

Prerequisites for happening & Abuse prevention: • Only applies after the person has AFK'ed for 25+ minutes • Only applicable to Solo/Duo • If the AFK person has a duo partner in the game, that duo partner is exempt from this system as they don't deserve a softened LP penalty for bringing that AFK garbage into my games >:(!!!
