Supports ward more than anyone else, that much is true (or should be) but they're not the only ones who should be warding. The website doesn't say it's just the supports job but implies that they will ward the most.

"Often"

With the free wards you are granted now, you should at the least be able to ward and not just keep 2 stacks the whole game. And the main reason they do provide vision control is because of their build paths.

The ward cap is there to also help encourage your allies to do their job as well. Which is still to ward. Supports should ward more than others, but that doesn't mean no one else should ward at all.

I rarely see anyone ward anything after their lane's tower dies. It's always shoved on the support, and the other lanes complain about no wards being out when they don't help. This happens most games, even in higher elos.

I understand. The highest I've ever been was bottom of D5 and I got dropped out when I made it in S4 cause I didn't belong there. People that don't ward enough can get higher ratings based on mechanical skill and follow through on strategies, but will eventually hit a brick wall because they don't ward enough.

Vision is knowledge, and knowledge is power. If other lanes complain about lack of wards, don't acknowledge them imo. They will eventually learn (or if not will be stuck in their elo) while you will eventually climb. Try not to let the stupid people get to you.

That's what I've been working on to get back to Plat for this Season, but I've already hit a wall in Gold. I'll just need to buckle down and force my way back in when I have time to play for 4+ hours a day :P

I have a similar issue man. I keep hitting my promos back to plat and I get afks and what not, or people who simply refuse to group out of spite xD

Well, if you need a duo, I'm a support main who can play top and jg. I just haven't had the best luck with team work when it came to other lanes this season.

Lazypeon1001 votes

Ironically, I've been maining support and top this season, with a dash of jungle xD.

Better chances of one of us getting a lane other than support for a change :D

Pet peeve of mine.

Knowledge isn't power. Only the APPLICATION of Knowledge is power.

You can have all the Knowledge in the world, it's useless if you don't apply it.

In regards to League... you can have Vision on 100% of the Map, and it not matter if the team doesn't ever look at the mini-map, or fails to react to what the mini-map shows.

Lazypeon1001 votes

Welp. You got me there. That knowledge is technically useless if you don't actually use it.

Wrote an Economics Paper about this, and a few other lies we were told growing up.

Like 'Your best is good enough!'. No, it very well may not be good enough... which is where Specialization comes in as far as Economics.

Also "Practice Makes Perfect"... false. Only Perfect Practice Makes Perfect... and since Perfection is an ideal that doesn't really exist, it is impossible to practice perfectly.

Despite that, we should recognize that we were lied to for the greater good... to strive to do our best in order to attempt to attain a perfection, so that we would break past perceived walls and find our real limits instead of simply settling for lesser limits.

Remember the time when it was the person that got behind that was the designated team warder?

Pepperage Farm remembers.

That was me, first time teemo. Didnt know what to do. Max w and bought all wards. Map was lit up like christmas tree

Max E if you are against sustain or playing machine gun. Max Q if you need nukage and the CC more.

Max W to tilt the enemy team like a boss.

No where did I read "whose job it is to provide the ONLY vision for their Team".
