So I really like Varus. I like his lines, I like his story, and I like his kit. Why don't people play Varus more? He has one of the best CC ults in the game. Who needs a gap closer? If they close the gap, ult and kill. Its free mobility counter. I know people don't play him because he doesn't have a gap closer but if your positioning is spot on should you ever really actually need one?

7ha7guy7771 votesI've had decent success with a tahm kench (suddenly you have mobility) that i was duoing with. A thresh who knows what he's doing can make landing Q really easy and your ult can set up his hooks if necessary

Thresh is a good one. Anyone who as an immobilization has really nice synergy with Varus. Now I want to try ashe support..

Idk I just feel like he is vastly under rated. I mean once you get IE his Q is like a mini Cait ult that hits everything it freaking passes through

I'll take graves over varus anyday. more mobility. tankier. burstier. hands down better adc

Swollwonder1 votesI typically use him more for the poke than the mass shred until very late game. With the lack of mobility it just helps more to me. But all of that is still valid
X8ViEhkPS01 votesVarus is a pretty interesting champion because he nearly has everything out of a midlane champion, and very little out of a bottom lane ADC. Strangely enough he is actually fairly safer in the mid lane able to abuse his very long range wave clear, along with the shortest lane coupled with safe summoners Ghost/Flash, Heal/Flash, Cleanse/Flash he can be fairly tricky to deal with.
