My protest against garen

He outruns me with over 430 movement speed. silences me. 1 combos me. attack him for ages but he doesn't die even without building armor. takes a whole team to kill him and does as much damage and a bruiser.

My Protest Riot. take away something from him. he can't have speed tankiness and strength. those are the 3 basic things in the game. he can't just have all of them. please take something away from him. either speed strength or tankiness. one of these things have to be nerfed in garen because am honestly just sick of garen. every match there is a garen. and i am probably rage commenting. bring all the hate. i don't like garen and am here to protest that he has everything going for him. I don't care if hes not picked in Challonjour or whatever high rank there is. i play unranked. and garen always has an unfair advantage over everybody. even his counters.

i mean i've faced and thought some other champions are op. but you can get over it. you can go around it and do something about it. if there is 1 champion that iwant to be deleted from this game its garen. its too much having to deal with him and i end up raging every match because i kite him for 20 minutes and his sustain is just stupid. Oh yeah. thats one more thing . SUSTAIN. he has it too. and then i make one mistake because that that point i just want to not play anymore. and then he one combos me and am dead.

Was he OP before the Juggernaut update? Before Dead Man's Plate, and the latest AD changes? I ask this because every single thing you've mentioned Garen has done since he was first released.

He runs at you, he tanks your damage, and he murders you. That's been Garen since day 1, and there have been times since then where Garen has been considered underpowered. I've been a Garen main for five years now, and I really don't find his style of fighting difficult to counter, even with him in his current state.

Your argument needs to be far more focused, or far longer. You simply cannot make this short of the post while talking about so many aspects of a champion. Even if you do decide to make a longer or focused post you have to keep in mind the other side of each point. If you're going to sway anyone to your point of view you have to answer their counterpoints before they have time to bring them up.

If you want to focus on his speed look at why he is fast. His Q was nerfed, so why is this still a problem? Talk about Dead Man's Plate and other items he often uses to run fast. If you take this route you must also cover how easy it is to kite Garen. Talk about the difference between movement speed and gap closers, and note how this effects your argument. He lost his built in Tenacity boost, so what changed to make it harder to kite him? Perhaps you could talk about vision changes here as well.

If you want to talk about his tankyness you have to look at each stage of the game. Garen received a significant late game resistance nerf during the Juggernaut changes. This was compensated as an early, flat buff and came along with more health/AD items. Take a look at the current state of all common tank items here. You also have to look at recent changes made to items and champions who work particularly well against tanky champions.

If you want to focus on his damage look at both how and why he does this damage. Look at his base stats, along with the AD items typical in his builds. Look at the different roles he fills in the game, specifically as a non-initiating tank and as a high damage fighter. Look at how his damage allows him to stay relevant at each stage of the game with his absolute lack of utility outside of his silence. Finally look at how damage mitigation has changed against physical damage.

With all that said I'm not going to justify your point on his sustain. Garen might as well have no sustain until level 11. Even then it's nothing life steal at that stage of the game can't outpace. You're only talking about late game Garen here, and since it doesn't actually help Garen during fights you're really unlikely to make any progress if this is your focus.

TLDR: You're trying to say too much in too few of words, and in the end you're saying nothing at all. If you really want a discussion on Garen here are a few examples of specific points to cover if you really want to start one.

quite simply u cant run away from his combos. his ultinate is insta true damage. hes hard to kill. even with his counters. teemo ashe. i was decimated.

They already did. His tenacity was removed, so locking him down would be a lot easier.

Almost all champions have at least 1 CC. And does it has to be a stun? There's so much varieties to choose from:

I love that I can play Garen now I stomp people all the time. I'm also Silver though, and frankly when I run into smurfs or just smart players they shut me down like it's no big deal. How? CC, really any kind of CC at all. Snares and stuns are obviously the best choices. Now, even with that you can force them to blow the spells on you, which is kind of what Juggernauts do anyway, and help your team win fights that way. If you get picked on him there's not much you can about it thought except run away.

Oh who am I can kidding Garen > Darius for days, the pros were dumb for picking Darius over Garen at worlds.

Current version of Garen is actually worse than the previous version. He's easier to win with when not experienced but worse when played by someone experienced.

garen does a really really good job of running at squishies and killing them that's what he does. at the same time, fighting a tank when you're garen is sooo frustrating if they're the villain, and even if they aren't you really dont hurt people much. basically if you face stuff like nautilus on the enemy team, you are literally going to hate your life because once you Q in and get hooked, your Q is gone and your dmp is gone and you're a 340 movespeed beyblade who absorbs damage from the people meant to shred you.

Garen has no Keystone synergy he's actually in a very underwhelming state.
