Build Path for BF Sword.
Had a crazy thought today.
You see, I've been maining ADC and playing the role in any game i can get.. and the thing that always bugs me most is how you either A.) Have to wait to go back longer than you would like to get that BF Sword.. or B.) You end up going back for something you'd rather not buy.
Now this isn't true for all ADC's! Ezreal or Corki, as an example, can easily go back and get a sheen first. It gives them a large damage increase and is also 350 gold cheaper than that rushed BF Sword.
See the problem?
My suggestion here is to make BF Sword build out of a Longsword. It'll expand the starting item pool down in bot lane (most ADC's are going Doran's Blade and 1 hp pot every game, when 3 hp pots and a longsword is more viable a lot of the time), and it will also make it simpler to finish that BF Sword around the time that other carries are finishing items like Sheen.
Three reasons this won't make BF Sword a stronger rush, but will instead make it more viable.
1.) You're only upgrading an item instead of flat out buying a new one.. giving less of an overall ad increase with first back. 2.) If you suddenly get killed and you have only 1200 gold (and started with a longsword), then you still get a 40 AD increase by upgrading the item. 3.) The meta won't shift heavily just because of a build path change. It makes more sense to make BF Sword work this way, and it also gives more options when planning your build.
Totally looking for other people's opinions on this, especially with all the new build path changes to make things more viable recently.
into the

are not necessary early items but they offer great utility and sustain for those types of champions and helps keep the lanes under control unless some crazy amount of feeding is going on.
with out taking up 3 inv slots with relatively useless items on their own, before saving and dumping 1900 gold into the item.

+ 820 gold
(or another random support item/upgrade) That's pretty slot inefficient to me to hang on to the above items completely filling your inventory, while you save another 820 gold. And God Forbid you aren't a tank with those items.
