Team Game?

A lot of arguments have been made about this, so I want to hear both sides of the story. In my personal opinion, League of Legends is currently a team game, and as far as I could tell always has been a team game. (I started playing last season so my opinion doesn't really count... I just go off of what people said and old videos)

I think League is a team of 5 individuals player, each with their own unique role, working together to achieve a goal. That's always how I saw League, but why do some people think it's not?

league isnt a team game its more of a coop , no tthe samething. you want a team game play hereos of the storm , reason peopel dislike it is simply you heavily have to rely on your team, in league it isnt that way if 1 person can carry this right here means it isnt a team game
