If my only choices were angry ranked players and playing blind pick garbage can, I'd uninstall right away and not look back for sure. Riot's done a lot of goofy stuff but that would be it for me, personally. I obviously know they haven't done it to NA, but someone even having the idea makes me uncomfortable. We were also told plants would be removed it it was bad...

Normal Draft will be retired at the start of preseason for all regions except North America, Europe West, and Brazil. Our goal is to offer the fewest number of queues that give unique experiences (so we can keep queues healthy) while keeping disruption low, and in all regions except NA/EUW/BR, normal draft had very low participation. In an ideal world, we’d like to retire normal draft in all regions.

queues for extended periods of times... the server space and etc it takes to run it would be streamed lined for those regions removing it...

basically they want to people either do blind pick ( for those who cant rank low level /not enough champs etc or those who dont care to rank ) or for everyone to do rank... to boost their rank #s...

making the queues in ranks less by making you either play rank... or blind pick

I'd like to state that I gladly wait 3 minutes in draft que vs 50 seconds in blind every single day... I do it with pleasure for a better game experience!

i really hate ranked and ranked people for being snobby for no reason, so, the next season i will play ranked and tell them every lobby:

Yeah, giving us solo ranked then dumping the entire casual draft pick community into it will make bronze and silver complete hell for players trying to climb. Terrible idea.

You say that now until you realize that norms players are the ones that want to play weird builds and roles while ranked players are try hards. How can that possibly go wrong?

I agree blind pick is gross.

What I'll do personally is just play flex queue like it's normal draft lol since I'm high elo anyways don't have a team so it's w/e.

That is why normal draft is under siege atm because flex queue is technically a new option solo players can go into

I prefer ranked anyways~ I prefer a certain amount of competency and having many queues DOES dilute my experience in my experience over the years. Worse matchmaking or huge queues.
