Gameplay Mod Request: An upgraded sidebar that shows your teammate's ultimate/SS cooldowns

Does anybody else find that little green light next to your teammate's portrait a little too uninformative? Ever wonder how close your team's Karthus is to having his ultimate back up, but he can't tell you because he's chat-restricted? And ever wanted to know whether or not your teammate burned his/her Flash when you weren't watching?

In Spectator Mode, you can see little icons with cooldown gauges on them in the sidebars, but in actual gameplay those don't exist because Riot thinks that'd be "too noisy". I don't think they should simply not make those and deny people who want that info access to it.

To that end, it'd be great it someone could create a HUD mod that gives that kind of precise information.

"But wouldn't that be cheating?"

Think of it like how Curse Voice got us Jungle Timers: if we try to do it, we're forcing Riot's hand so they can make "legal" versions of it.

Anybody wanna help force Riot's hand? I'd try it, but I have no programming skills. T_T

i agree. waiting forever for something like the champion display in spectator mode.

this is a team game after all. and if there is one thing that makes solo que frustrating, is the lack of communication. knowing your own teammates ultimate and summoner cooldowns would go a long way to coordinate yourself better with randoms.

youre sitting at dragon after killing n opponent. does your jungler have smite available? does your top laner have flash when your jungler comes into lane? does he have tp ready? i dont see why we can get buff timers (something that is MUCH easier to keep track off than the 8 summoner spells of our teammates), but something as crucial as ult and summoner cooldowns are still hidden. (note that while available ults are displayed, there is no information on how much of a cooldown is remaining, which would be very helpful).

if youre in ts with your team, you might be able to easily communicate these things. but with 5 randoms in a game, just the chat makes it much more difficult to communicate this information in a pinch, which can lead to bad decisions. one half of the team pulling one direction because they want to fight, and one half of the team being hesitant, because their big cooldowns are still ~20 seconds unavailable.
