Mid champion suggestion?

I have a pretty big champion pool, but after getting destroyed mid by a jungling Lee Sin (never died to my lane opponent, just a couple of times to Lee while roaming and a bunch more to Lee 100->0ing me under my own tower), I just realized I don't actually know who to pick mid if there is a Lee jungler.

I prefer high range mages, which might be the reason Lee got that fed off of me. What I'm asking for is a suggestion on a champ who can say "oh good, I found Lee!" instead of my usual "oh crap, I found Lee".

Velkoz will be able to stun & probably kill Lee under turret.

Few things i suggest if you just instantly die under tower.

1)Build defensives. If something is snowballing like crazy, even if it isn't your laner, you need to build defensives for it if it's killing you. Hell ill stop everything, and pick up tabis on mid lane mages if i need to if top/ad jungler is snowballing out of control. 2)If you have issues dodging skill shots, pick up a champion with low cd mobility. In this meta 2 very strong mid laners with reliable mobility, scale well, and get decently tanky, are Ekko Kassadin . 3)Never facecheck a bush. If you don't have vision on someone in their team, and they can without a shadow of a doubt 1v1 you. Assume they are in the bush.

Now their are cases where you are under tower and just get dove. However with champions like Kass and Ekko you are still fairly safe in those situaitons.

try not to overextend and lee won't be a huge problem. Ahri is a good pick against him i guess. Ult away from his Q, he'll never be able to engage. if he does? Just cc him and you kinda win the trade anyway rofl.
