Riot, Rengar seems to be giving your assassin fixes the middle finger.

Most of the Rengar players I've seen lately are going pure damage and can delete pure tanks in seconds, to say nothing of squishies, while surviving situations that would kill other assassins thanks to his Battle Roar healing. Counterplay? That little "!" that tells you he's cloaked nearby? No, that doesn't help, it just lets you know WHAT deleted you; it doesn't let you survive it. Once you see it, you're already dead unless you instantly Flash out (which is not legit counterplay).

If you're nerfing assassins, Riot, you might want to give Rengar another look over. Getting deleted instantly as a heavily-armored Leona seems like it shouldn't happen.

Well Twitch or Shaco doesn't let you know when they're there deleting you, you kinda just go into grey scale while wondering what hit you.

The point is when you push have your lane warded so you know he is coming. PS you would have shit bricks if he wasnt nerfd as he is today...

Ever heard of wards?? Or Sweepers??

You activate Oracle's Lens, seeing Rengar who was just about to jump you anyway. You are already dead.

...And why would you put yourself in such a poor position...? Have you seen Rengar in the higher elos? He literally gets shit on 80% of the time, 20% he trades 1 for 1...due to teams either pink warding, sticking together, or both...you know...just basic things to counter stealth champions in general, especially one that can't even disengage properly after going in with ult...There are other champs that are causing a much bigger fuss. Rengar is the most successful champion in challenger. There's a Rengar main who buys Sword of the Occult every single game without exception who has a 73% winrate this season over 99 games and an 80% winrate in season 4 over 150 games. There's another who has a 70% winrate this season over 27 games and a 67% winrate in season 4 over 335 games. Another with a 69% winrate this season over 49 games and a 64% winrate in season 4 over 72 games. There's no other champion who wins so reliably. Clearly you haven't seen Rengar in higher elos.

After looking at your match history, Rengar had boots of mobility and a ghostblade. Those two items, on top of his bonetooth passive, gives him a lot of extra movement speed. If you could assume he has movement speed quints, he's really moving! That's the reason why you get very little notice from the exclamation point.

He also had a level advantage over everyone in the game, 4k more gold than your carry, and twice your farm. It just seems your team fell behind.

Considering I had over 200 armor as Leona (before activating my W), he shouldn't have been able to delete me in 3 seconds even with a 2 level advantage. He would've needed a Last Whisper.

And it's not just that match where Rengar pure AD has been like that. I've had several matches where we had an enemy pure AD Rengar and he simply deletes one of your people regardless of counterplay attempts.

Since you don't believe it, I'll do the math for you.

200 armor.

The formula used to calculate damage is thus: Damage multiplier = 100 / 100 + Armor, Armor >= 0

After applying armor penetration and the extra armor from your W, you have 260 armor. Damage multiplier = 100 / 100 + 260 = 0.278 This means that all of Rengar's damage is multiplied by 0.278.

Rengar has 96 base AD at level fourteen. With his items, he has 271 AD. Let's assume his combo is R-eQ-Hydra-Q-W-E before hitting the ground. This combo is perfectly achievable in under one second. Rengar's empowered Q increases his AD by 10%. This would give Rengar a total of 298 AD. eQ (200 + 144) + Hydra (298) + Q (150 + 358) + W (50m) + E (250 + 123) = (1573 * 0.278 = 437) Leona, at level twelve with a Sunfire, has 1883 health. Before he lands, you are at 1446. That's roughly a quarter of your health before you're able to retaliate, assuming you already had your W activated. This is also before he lands. He also has five more ferocity generating on top of the three he just gained. It's possible to activate three empowered abilities in under a few seconds. This is also not taking into account runes and masteries for either of you. In reality, Rengar most likely did more than this to you. I am not taking into account the 6% penetration from masteries (10 arpen at 200 armor), +5% bonus AD (9 AD), +3% increased damage, roughly 10 extra at level AD, and another 15 AD from runes. In reality, he could have probably brought you down to half with that combo.

If you were isolated and you had to run away, I would not be surprised if he were able to auto you to death as well as keep you slowed. He has significantly higher movement speed, as well as movement speed and attack speed steroids.
