Disabling Teemo in one for all is really not necessary, is it?

He wasn't a problem in URF. Where he could have four times as many mushrooms as a standard Teemo now (twice the duration, and double the CDR).

All you have to do is let a bannered minion roll down lane and your whole team can push towers without fear of running into them.

It's basic strategy to let the minions lead and take out the mushrooms for you to follow behind. Anyone can figure it out and pull it off. It will even happen by accident most of the time. If you buy vision too then the whole game changes.

It would actually be pretty bad for teamfighting because the mushroom DoT's don't stack. So it has anti-synergy because their main teamfighting tool doesn't even stack it's damage.

I just love playing Teemo, so I'm very disappointed I don't get to see what five look like working together.

Even if he were permabanned most of the time, at least there would be the option to sometimes get to try him out in this mode.

Teemo should not be banned in one for all there are plenty of things more cancer than Teemo.

Something more cancer than running into 50 shrooms in 1 lane?

Walking to the other lanes.

At least the Karthus ban seems legitimate. Because there's no way to defend against an ult that hits you anywhere. Stack it five times and you've got a guaranteed kill. Keep repeating it. Yeah, that doesn't really work as a game. You may not be able to buy enough MR items to offset it fast enough.

But Teemo has plenty of ways to play around his mushrooms, even if there is a lot of them.

They tested it internally and it was banned for a reason

You don't know that's the case. What if they just found it annoying rather than game breaking?

Whereas Karthus is literally game breaking, making it functionally broken and unplayable from level 6 - you'd have a hard time arguing the same about 5 Teemos. You can still function and win against that.

Riot often communicates that they test most things both internally or on the pbe before taking it live

It could be why but that's rather unlikely.

I think the idea behind that is less the mushrooms and more his passive.

All five on a team could just sit anywhere. And as soon as someone walks by, they just instanuke him.

But that's only one person. Five ezreals ulting down lane in sync could potentially instanuke the entire enemy team. When you talk about five man coordination, a lot of stuff starts to get OP in this game mode - but that's the fun of it.

Powerful, potentially, but removal-worthy? Not even close. We're not talking about Karthus ult which, by it's design, just breaks the whole game when you can five man it.

I honestly don't think his invisibility has anything to do with it at all. People just complain about mushrooms even though it's something you can overcome.

it has more to do with that somehow league's servers and/or client can only handle so many effects being active at once. The servers/game have frequently crashed in the past when too much happened at once. Draven's april fool's day theme for instance, the awesome map update to ARAM that never made it passed its 2-week debut, and various others that I can't remember atm

But hey don't worry, they left in Illaoi. Tentacles galore and they all work with each others abilities. Joy.

Don't they still have the same effective area cap though?

Like, there's a lot, but they're still locked to the same spawn points, I believe.

She's toxic in this mode, sure, but she doesn't have fundamental brokenness in it.

Ok sure but why1 votes

Teemo's shrooms were capped at 20 on URF, but those are fair points

You can't auto-attack 5 teemos as an adc team.

You can't auto-attack 5 teemos as an adc team.

We know that's not the reason it would be disabled. It's only temporary, it presumes all five teemos synchronize all five hits, and many ADs are ability burst based.

Teemo is nothing compared to 5 Illaois, 5 Maokais, 5 Cho's. Theres so much worse.
