What are you talking about? The ony thing that's really changed about her for him is that her ult isn't an execute anymore until you get 100 Edge. He animation cancels with her, so he already satisfies the "Only on next auto attack" portion of it. If anything, she's stronger now with the 10% damage buff

Riven's ult was never a true execute, it never did percent health damage, it just did max damage when you were low health. Looking at it, 100 Edge ults will do similar damage except your targets will take a shit load of damage without having to be low

Yup,what a twist, it's actually a buff with counterplay being added to the ult to compensate

it's a "buff" in the sense that her all-in is better

nerf to her playstyle flexibility because she can only all-in now, no short trades or in-and-outs and you can't do things like E+R without losing edge unless you've already got it filled, because you lose the opportunity to charge it

it's not even an interesting change, it's just "let's see how we can arbitrarily limit this champion while still giving soloQ players something to cry about"

I'm not saying she'll be broken. I'm saying that her ult won't be at full strength when her opponents are low health anymore, it'll depend on her managing her edge. I just looked at the current damage she has on live, the base numbers look exactly the same on PBE. If the AD Scaling on the ult is 60%, then the ult will literally do the same damage as it does right now at max with 100 edge

It's still a nerf to her early game. And if these changes go through and she continues to be dominant, you know as well as I that riot will bump down the time she has edge stacks like they did for Ryze. It's almost ogre, go into the night Riven mains

How is it a nerf to her early game in any way, shape, or form? There have been no numbers nerfs to her Q, W or E, and her passive actually gives her bonus damage now just for doing what she normally does. Her laning phase might even be stronger now thanks to these changes

This is a Riven buff. Her damage got a 10% increase based on edge and her ult can do max damage to full health targets now and she lost nothing in return.
