I'm of the opinion that Zilean's kit is pretty good, and attribute his low playrate more to the fact that his design (old man) isn't as appealing to people, compounded with the fact that he's got one of the oldest models in the game now.
When he gets updated, should he have a Morgana-tier VU where it's just mostly visual updates with a little bit of gameplay change, or just a standard old VGU?
I've played this game for years and have fell asleep twice while playing, both times i played zilean. Its not that hes an old man, hes boring as hell to play and needs a complete overhaul imo.
Whatever they do, if he doesn't get Eurodance (-dance) I will be mad.
New E: Chronojump Target an ally then select a direction for them to jump, granting them a movespeed buff for 1 second. This does not cancel channels.
Edit: This can also he used on enemy champions.
Edit 2: Activating it twice makes it just give bonus movespeed without dashing.
I hated the old Zilean and I hate the new Zilean. Complete overhaul, don't preserve any of it. Make him fun, make him interesting, make him cool. He's a walking ult with some fluff, from an old ideology; like kennen and janna. The only reason to really play him is for his ult. His identity was completely usurped by ekko, who does time travel right.
his current kit is good, I like it its fun to use and has solid strengths and weaknesses, but his passive just sucks and could do with a rework, give him some sort of a passive that really pushes the 'time mage' feel.
Also wouldn't mind a skin for him where he progresivly get younger through the game as he levels up
