Yasuo can ult off a lot of actions that he shouldn't.

Seriously though,

he can even ult off Dravens knock back. Thresh's hook.

These arent even legit knock ups.

What other non-knock ups can this champ ult off of?

ACTIVE: Yasuo blinks to the Sight icon visible AIRBORNE enemy champion nearest the cursor, instantly generating 100 Flow stacks but resetting Steel Tempest's.

It's funny how it says AIRBORNE, but it goes off of any displacement. It's very stupid and needs fixed quite honestly. Either update the tooltip or fix the in-game mechanic.

Wouldn't you have to be airborne to be displaced for the most part?

Like maybe thresh's hook wouldnt be airborne but other than that..

I'm 99% certain that being dragged on the ground by Thresh's Q is not being airborne or is being rolled backwards by Janna's ult.

Most displacements count. Janna q is obviously a knock up, but less known is janna's ult knockback also works, along with stuff like trist ult, and even quinns e.

Darius Pull. Quinn Kick. Camille Dash. Rammus ~~Rollout ~~PowerBall. Aurelion's Inside ult. Viktor's upgraded W stun. (my favorite lul)

I think riot forgot that "knockup" is a very specific type of CC, which is inherently stronger than other CC, because tenacity doesn't include knockups. Yet the number of "knockup" effects in the game has increased substantially since yasuo's introduction. Obviously not every champion has it, but a disproportionate number of new and reworked champions have a knock up, relative to how many had them before yasuo's release.

that's why it doesn't say knockup, it says** airborne**. Which includes all displacements and knockups

Yes and his windwall says "projectile" but that doesn't stop it from blocking waves and fissures running along the ground.

Every displacement effect

Well Yasuo's ult works off Displacements there are very actual "Knock Ups" in the game.

Lazy coding.

They are "airborne" effects in that they displace the player by pulling or pushing them through the air. Thresh's is the most questionable since you visibly stay on the ground. Draven's you do kind of "pop" a bit into the air. I guess it more depends on how high you have to be for Yasuo to ult you and consider you really Airborne, but all displacement is technically taking you off of your feet (except Thresh and maybe a tiny bit others).

TL;DR All displacement effects with a few exclusions knock you off of your feet, technically making you Airborne. Displacement effects that don't visibly knock you off your feet are just coded to be airborne, so they could be argued.

I wouldn't exactly call myself airborne if I were 5 centimeters above ground due to dravens E

I swear all you haters are adc mains. The most toxic group of players in the lol community.

Show the part of the ability that states he can ONLY use it on enemies affected by knock-ups and maybe you'll have a leg to stand on for your argument.

Riot coding at its best, and the funny thing is it wouldn't even be hard for Riot to fix. Make it so only ACTUAL knockups would work. Its not like there is really that many. Braum ult, Vi Ult, Ali groundpound, Blitz E, Malph ult, Yasuo's 3rd Q, Kalistas ult. Rakans Dash(forget which button it is) Janna Q. I am fairly sure Poppy's ult doesn't count due to it making them invulnerable during the flight.

I think I got most, but yeah its not THAT many. A Thresh hook shouldn't count. Just be glad Yasuo is being reworked soon. Enjoy him while you can, and for the ones that don't like him, just keep permabanning him, its much easier than complaining to just never let him exist to begin with.
