It is true, it looks terrible. They should rename the skin to **Victorious Atrocious **.
Seriously though, the gold/white colors look like the intern team took the justicar skin and slapped a instagram filter on it. Then they added blue(?) spandex leggings to him and called it a day before 5pm. Come on, this is supposed to be the creme de la creme of the skins, something to be proud of. Even if I played Aatrox, I wouldn't use this skin. I'm 99% sure it can cause eye cancer.

Not only does it really bad but a lot of people are super disappointed it wasn't Sona. Sona makes way more sense considering how she and Taric literally were the most iconic part of the Spring Split. :/

Sadly I have to agree. This skin could definitely use a bit of a rework before being released. Prestige Blood Moon Aatrox is what they should have done with a character like aatrox -- i mean in terms of its direction by having scary demon/angel thing, just less asian lore, and more purple/gold/platinum fan fare. Currently it just looks like an iteration of justicar that they didn't go with. Why did they make him look like some sort of star fleet admiral? Maybe the chroma is better, maybe the effects look good, but the skin itself at a glance is very unappealing.
It's just harder to get and worst looking justicar. This skin is actually so disappointing that it makes me wanna drop back down to silver just so that I'm not so disappointed.

I don't see it as a worse version of justicar, But it is definitely very not good looking
I swear the reason we got the teaser SOOOO late compared to past victorious award skins was BECAUSE they forgot the season was ending soon and had to rush a skin out. Honestly I'm surprised he got it compared to others like Brand, Sona, Vayne, Yas, Gragas, etc. Aatrox already got the Prestige + normal version of Bloodmoon earlier this year. They should have picked a champ that actually was meta defining and Aatrox just wasn't that and this skin is one of if not THE worst skin he has now.
It looks like Jhin and old Kayle had a champ mashup and this is the AATROCIOUS baby that resulted from it.
