Riot, you gave him nerfs back then, now AP Ekko feels so weak. Buff him. He doesnt have enough damage to be even considered as an assassin.

I'm pretty sure the nerfs before were directed at Tank Ekko. He even just recently received buffs.

They already buff AP ratio to compensate everytime they nerf his base.

Average QWER burst of an average AP mage/assassin is 1000+220% @18. Ekko is ~1100+300% @18. Which is marginally higher than average bases, and substantially higher than average scalings.

Ekko's skill-rank order pushes a lot of his base damage to early/mid game what with having 1 spell that does 0 damage, allowing Ekko to max his base damages before 18. As a ton of Ekko's damage is in his Q, he also sees a solid power-spike from bases @9: giving him LeBlanc/Rengar/Kha-Zix power-spikes with his burst.

The only place Ekko really struggles in ATM is that AP itemization and especially AP assassin itemization is pretty weak at the moment. Ekko does have amazing AP ratios to deal with that though, and Ekko's utilities are quite strong in general, and substantially stronger than what a typical assassin has access to.

AP Ekko is pretty strong at the moment.

AP Ekko's only real issue is that tanky DPS Ekko is better.
