@Meddler lets talk about the state of Katarina's Shunpo and Talons Cuttthroat

After the whole supposed "assassin leak" on Reddit there was a big outcry and outburst about the possible change of Katarina's shunpo. Alot of players feel its core to her Identity and I completely agree HOWEVER I think that its current state is completely unhealthy for the game.

Katarina and Talons dash skills are very unique in that they are INSTANT Unlike the other gapclosers in the game they offer no visual or audio ques or even ANIMATIONS to work off of decreasing possible counterplay VASTLY.

has to do a short tumble and will usually yell something(LOOK OUT!") he will even change his stance to show that his dash is primed.This offers easy counterplay as you can simply back off until the effect dissapaits. When Zed first uses his targeted dash you are given 1 second to react. His signature "muha ha ha" and the shadows closing in on you are more than enough time to react to Zed. has travel time much like projectiles and will yell " DARRRKNESS" as his audio warning so even if you dont see him you KNOW that you may be target and can react accordingly. Hell even gives warning in the form of an exclamation mark AND he can be disrupted mid leap animation thus rewarding quick reactions!

I could go on and on but in a game where practically every dash has an animation of some sort why is it fair that some champions simply dont and get to cheat this unwritten rule? Because of the "Nature" of gapclosers reacting properly or in time is a nearly impossible (ever seen a Katarina flash ward jump to tossa dagger at you? the longest part of the combo is actually the dagger throwing animation) and i really think this is one of the BIGGEST factors to said champions gameplay problems especially the kill time problem.

REMINDER: keep in mind im NOT saying that Riot should remove thier dashes or anything im saying they should NOT let them be instantaneous as that does not match Riots current balance and design philosophy.
