AP items need an overhaul.

I dont understand why AP champions like Diana and Ekko are expected to build the exact same thing Ahri and Lux. You don’t see AD backline building the same as AD Assassins. The only time that ever happened was when Lethality got super busted and ADCs started building it, but even that was fixed right away.

A solution would be to make a Melee-only AP item for divers so they don’t have to build the same items as Mages.
