Back in my days if you wanted to delay an Assassins burst all you had to do is build defensively

All you had to do when you died in 0.3sec, is build a little bit amount of MR or armor and you'll survive the burst. Oh, you expect to survive a 1 vs 1 because you're out of position and your support was warding while you fight an assassin. Who's fault is that you or the assassins? Look at those anti assassins items in the game. Underrated and unused.
