That's because the toggle isn't something they plan on doing. People keep bringing it up, and it keeps getting shot down as an idea.

Don't buy sunfire if you're unwilling to take aggro from turrets or monsters. It's that simple.

i buy it for the icon to finally see that i get aggro'd by towers pls make it a toggle

You should be buying it as a damage item for tanky champions. That's it's purpose, and as a tanky champion you shouldn't be scared of a few hits from a tower or monster. If your low enough or outnumbered enough that a few hits would kill you then you are horribly out of position.

All a toggle would do is allow people to be lazy, it really doesn't add anything important to the game, or if it does no one has bothered to present that argument on the forum.
