Lets discuss "objectives"

I understand that towers, inhibitors, The Nexus, Dragon(s) and Baron are absolutely considered objectives. I would go ahead and include the Rift Herald in this in a general sense, but this post is regarding what are considered objectives as far as Ezreal's new W is concerned, and I personally, haven't actually seen it attempted on Rift Herald yet. Confirmation would be appreciated.

However, ... I think it could be argued that Scuttle crab and both the Red and Blue buffs should be considered objectives as well.

I would honestly like to see Ezreal's W stick to all large monsters, even if it is with reduced damage and/or reduced or no mana refund.

Yeah, I just want to see Ezreal jungle be a real thing.

I understand that isn't really something that people generally agree with, and it may not ultimately be healthy for the game, ...

... but, ... please ...? [sg-soraka]

They likely haven't because it'd be too effective. Especially combined with sheen/iceborn. And would require it to be weaker for the jungle, or have special values for each which is jst more work for them.

He can jungle currently. He just isn't great.

This change wouldn't change that because he'd still be devoured by graves, eve, kayne, yi, amumu, vi, WW ect which is Ezreals true problem.

Also, do you really want to risk turning him into another graves who also got special treatment for the jungle? Universally hated and perma banned?

I think a nerfed solution would be pretty simple. Just put a damage cap against monsters.

I don't think it would really need to be that effective as a damage source, but it would be important for use with his passive in order to keep his attack speed up.

The new ability also works as mana sustain in lane. Mana sustain isn't normally as much of an issue in the jungle with blue buff and the Tooth passive from Hunter's Talisman. I would be completely willing to even negate this portion of the ability completely against monsters.

Look at the bright side, minions cant cockblock it.

It is completely useless in the jungle, and you can't even proc it on yourself for his passive anymore.

As far as being something that can't be blocked in lane, I'm glad that they kept that, but it doesn't even deal any damage if you don't follow up with a basic attack or an ability.

I don't think that it is bad as it is on the PBE, but I think it would be better if they made it do something against monsters, .. even if it can only be applied to scuttle, red, and blue.
