Seems like I get the same amount of shit teams in gold as I did in Bronze, but at least Bronze had less ragers.

Probably going to just play normals until I get my free skin.

Except it's not a myth. I've been all over in bronze and outside of b4 there have been very few ragers. maybe fifteen people or so out of all of my games down here. In my normal games however where I play with golds every game to every other game(my mmr is soooo screwed between ranked and normals) they rage pretty often. This is my personal experience but apparently I'm not the only one who has them.

Only games you played today, so I'm guessing those made you come straight to the boards. Before complaining about your teammates, you need to consider the common denominator. That Vi game? You had the most deaths. Doesn't matter how many kills you got, you gave the most gold to the enemy team. Second place goes to the Kalista with 7 deaths (who also got first blood and 4 kills), so you clearly died more than you should have.

but this is the exact scenario it was designed for...either use the features given to you do deal with it, don't let it bother you, or stop complaining.

The way I see it, there are 4 options:

Mute the rager(s), and cut off a potentially game winning source of information. Not really acceptable.
Don't really let it bother me. Still doesn't change that Riot's statistics show that Ragers are correlated with losses.
Stop complaining and do nothing.
Try and get the community to change.

I like option 4 the best so expect to see lots of these posts.

Well, unfortunately #4 is the least likely to succeed. I understand where you're coming from completely and i sympathize.

however, this is what Riot expects us to do, so don't expect any help from them.

If someone's really starting to bother you, the mute and ignore commands are always there to resolve the situation.

In Bronze, you have a guy that goes 0-5 in 15 minutes. In Gold, you have a guy that goes 0-5 in 15 minutes flaming the entire team.

Your entire argument is based off hypothetical difference between a Bronze and Gold feeding with no legitimate evidence, just "what everybody knows". I can't make a counterargument because there is no argument to counter.

The biggest difference between the average bronze player and the average gold player is the gold player gets more cs. A gold player will still do the same stupid shit that bronze player would do, they'd just have more gold while doing it.

Take a moment to realize that people who are raging relentlessly are likely far more miserable than you. It almost makes you feel sorry for them because that state of mind is obviously hard to break out of. Best you can do is just ignore them and move on. Most of them are young and will grow out of it, and there's no saving the ones that aren't.
