Seriously....like wtf? I can't figure this bull shit champ out. What is his weakness? Back in the day EVERY champ had SOMETHING that gave them a downside / weakness. What the fuck is Pykes? How do you punish people who play this overloaded abomination?
Btw, I'm a mid laner but any tips to help out my bot lane would be great. (Don't say roam cause that's not reliable nor is it always an option, especially once Pyke spams R and kills bot over and over.)
You can ban him in champ select. That's my solution for him, works 100% of the time
I think the champion was a mistake, so... Riot gave me the power to remove him from my games, I exercise that power

He is an ugly champ.
As many have stated, ban him. If you run into somebody that knows how to play him reasonably well, then you're going to lose the game 75% of the time. His kit is just overloaded so ban him.
Pyke actually falls off a cliff in late game.. He reaches full build in minute 25 and it's all downhill from there.
His waveclear is non-existant, his objective control is non-existant. He can feed his team gold, but at some point you just outscale him.
Pyke cannot win the game alone. No support can. Not unless you got massive waveclear and strong tower pushing capabilities.

You mean aside from the fact that he can't build health? And aside from the fact that his overall damage is pretty shitty unless he's steamballing you? And aside from the fact that his basic abilities are straight lines?
You can dodge everything, he has a good early game but falls off and does nothing when behind, you can all in him pretty easily, doesn't do anything if his adc doesn't follow up.
Like there are a lot and basically thresh does everything he can do but better.
Champs that shit on pyke from midlane:
Yasuo Heimerdinger Diana TF Ahri (since the charm now interrupts dashes, Ahri is a fucking nightmare for pyke) Cassiopea Kassadin Vladimir
Healing and Spell Shields if possible
That you can engage, kill, or poke out his ADC without too much effort. He's a kill lane, not too much in the realm of helping his partner survive beyond an E which is telegraphed and slow when you know exactly how he's going to use it once you attack the ADC.
Pretend his ADC is Soraka, and Pyke himself is the tank/bruiser; same dynamic as a Soraka lane on how to win but different mentality of approach.
His weakness is his ult is easy to dodge. That's about all I can think of.
No sustain for his allies.
He falls off.
He picks. He can't engage large fights well.
His core itemization is rather expensive for his role. If he doesn't get his snowball, he'll be behind.
His core itemization has no supportive properties. Someone buys Redemption and can heal thousands of hp across their team. He buys a Duskblade...as a support. Unless he's ahead, this isn't super fantastic.
