Is it intended for Galio to not be able to proc athenes with his W? from the description of his ability, it does match the requirement for the item... Unless I am misunderstanding.

Lord Desert1 votesHis w is not a shield, rather just a buff/debuff typ. A shield has a certain value, like morgana E, or Janna E. His is just a "visual" shield but is not codded as a shield, thus does not proc athenes heal.
