Old Topic...still relevant

So back in 2014 Riot released some post stating that skins are released in regards to when a champion last received one...but since then I have seen the exact same group of champions receiving new skins each season+ Any idea why there's such a huge lack of skin diversity? I mean it must be something to do with champion popularity but if thats the case where have been the new skins for Viktor, Velkoz, Cassiopeia, Rengar, Rumble etc; most of these champs have a high skill curve but are popular through all elos. The list is a lot bigger but I'm sure more than a handful of people are bored of seeing the same rotation of champs receiving new skins every year. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
