@Riot, are there any plans to re-purpose any mages to fit into the jungle role?

Or introduce any new mages/ap junglers. I don't know if it's just me but the current state of the jungle seems to be heavily favoured towards AD Fighters/Assassins and AP Tanks with the exception of Elise, Evelynn and Diana whenever she's "in meta". I remember during season 4 & 5 there seemed to be a lot more of a diverse set of junglers in the game but now it seems that unless you're exceptionally good on a particular champion and are into off meta picks, the jungle is the same rotation of champions.

AP is usually associated with AOE, which is very hard to balance for jungle clearing.

Amumu Chogath Diana DrMundo Elise Evelynn Fiddlesticks Fizz Ekko Gragas Ivern Kayle Nidalee Nunu Nautilus Rammus Sejuani Zac are all viable AP junglers, mages like Velkoz Cassiopeia can jg, but their kits simply work better in lane with higher gold/exp yield. The reason why AD jg's are significantly more viable than AP jgs right now is because AD itemization is simply better than AP while simultaneously countering magic dmg with multiple AD+MR items item 3156 item 3139 item 3814 and tanky sustain boosting item 3065 . Even AP jg's are better against other AP jgs than AD with item 3001 being much better against AP than item 3157 is against AD. On top of providing 15 less armor than "abyssal" gives mr, almost all AD just rush one or more of these items item 3142 item 3147 item 3071 which will negate a large amount or all of the little bit of armor "zhonyas" gives you.
