Is anyone else tired of the 5-man botlane?

No? Just me? Okay.

I thought lowering the first-tower gold was going to solve this, but I guess it didn't.

I still don't get why first-tower gold is considered "a measure of rewarding communication" when you can just guarantee one by having your jungle, mid, all come bot for a gank, but that's just me.

They did the 5 man gank and your top laner didn't TP as well, Your mid didn't follow, and your jungler didn't countergank. They outplayed your team hence the rewarding communication. They communicated and played better as a team then you did

You got to remember that usually, by the time the others start following along, it means your tower's already dead and gone.

But no, my main complaint is that it's so extremely common it's getting really boring. It's sort of like being held hostage in a match where your Top is 0/14, your Mid's 1/12, your Jungler's AFK. It's not fun and you know the outcome, and you have to watch helpless. ...didn't Riot say something about "player agency" a while ago?

How do you not notice the entire enemy team is missing?

unfortunately, its more a matter of...... "how many people can we shut out while applying the same amount of pressure"

The logical answer is bott with 2-5 normally. Normally what happens is since everyone is bott, top and mid on your team want to push their tower because its a free lane at that point. Which is fine and dandy except bott lane then falls fast due to massive shove. Your ally jungler will likely come to try and help, but chances are the pressure will be too great and you will likely end up dieing if you stay. The problem gets even worse because then the ally top and mid panic about bott going down so they try to come and help when all the rest of the ally team is low or dead, which results in complete chaos.

It had nothing to do with tower first blood gold at all. It had to do with winning the game by setting as many enemies back as possible.

Similar to how Singed and Nasus do not care that they die, they just get stacks and make havoc for the enemy team by killing minions and taking whatever towers are open. Essentially making it a 4v5 while the Nasus/singed plays their game of 1 vs minions and towers.

Thats why I hate when JG camps top lane. Thats just asking for 4 man gank bot for FB tower + drag.

However, this makes competative play more interesting because it forces players to fight each other, instead of the stale snoozefest of the first 10 minutes of macro lane swap/tower trades.
