Courage of The Colossus with Poppy's Heroic Charge (E) actually isn't suppose to work.

So we all know PoppyPoppy gets a shield off of her passive. It's a big shield, but it can be played around. Her E however cannot be played around. So played right she can cycle through 2 shields one after the other. Which is in fact broken. Now why is her E not suppose to proc CoTC? Well it says stun, taunt, snare, or knock up. Well her E can hit you into a wall and thus stun you. So the proc there makes sense. The proc of the shield when she simply hits you with it is actually not suppose to work that way. Her E is not a snare cause it does not keep you in one place allowing you to still attack. It does not knock you up as you can see in any animation of it. It is obviously not a taunt. So that would mean the first part of her E is in fact a stun. Why though? I don't see the stun icon above me when she simply hits me with it. It doesn't say it will stun the opponent if not connected to a wall. So why does it proc? I would like the information on her E to be either updated to say that it is in fact a stun even without the wall hit or you can just fix the mistake and stop the proc. It does not show as a stun, taunt, snare, or knock up... so why is it treated as such? Poppy is busted currently because of this. None of her stats need to be lowered, but the synergy with her passive and CoTC is broken. Hit me into a wall I understand. Hit me up with your ult I understand. Though to get that shield off of something that is not labeled in the keystone or in her E itself is absolutely bogus. RIOT get your stuff together. You got things not working the way word for word they should be. Thanks.

Knockups/knockbacks are treated the same way essentially from what I know - so when she does E you to push you along, that technically counts as a hard CC.

So why is knock back not labeled in the keystone? That's my point. Cause a knock up and a knock back are quite different in terms of displacement when it comes to spells. Like Yasuo ults off of knock up and not knock back.

Because both knockups/backs put the champion in a status of "airborne" - which is essentially the mechanical term for a knockup. They are literally the same thing, we just call them different things for ease of understanding. Think of it as Fighters being broken down into Juggernauts and Divers - replace Fighters with Knockups, Juggernauts with standstill knockups and Divers with knockbacks.

I also believe Yasuo should be able to ult with knockbacks, but I don't play him nor will I ever care to. He can also ult off Nami bubbles which are considered a suspension, so CC as a whole could probably be cleaned up a bit.

You are most definitely right that CC as a whole needs to be cleaned up. Though Nami's bubble actually provides the stun icon. Now Yas can't ult off of Poppy's E. Which means it is in fact not a knock up cause he can ult off of Vi's Q which is. I see what you mean by Fighters, Juggernauts, and Divers. That however does not explain the issue with Poppy's E and CoTC.

Now Yas can't ult off of Poppy's E.

Because there's no such thing as a 'knockback' in the game. That's just a word players use to distinguish between knockups with a nonzero directional component and knockups with a zero directional component.

Her E is a knockback that is a situational stun. Forced displacements are hard cc.

They only label 4 things of CC in the keystone. Knock back is not one of those. It needs to be updated or the E changed.

Knockback = Knockup. They are in the same cc group.
