I find it hilarious how Riot says that ranked queue is for people to prove themselves and to enjoy the game on a semi competitive level. Hmm... I'm sorry, but when I get an adc AhriAhri who has a 90% lose rate with that champ in that position I don't want to continue that queue. What about the times you get an obvious team and they all troll and refuse to communicate with you and then flame you? How're we gonna be punished with loss of LP and queue denial times when we are simply trying to play the game the way ya'll intended Riot? The game isn't capable of being solo carried anymore. You need 2 people who know what they're doing to carry at the least. So when I get a team of trolls and you're telling me I need to play this RANKED game or I will be punished is complete bogus. Dodging should be allowed before the timer of champ select goes to zero. Like Riot are you telling me you'd play with a ZiggsZiggs support, JannaJanna jg, and an AP VolibearVolibear mid? I don't think you would. Quite frankly I think you'd probably dodge as well, but then you'd get penalized. Which you shouldn't... if you are obviously going into a ranked game with people who aren't playing it the way ya'll initially intended then why must we suffer? It makes no sense. I play norms and goof around. I play ranked and take it seriously. As all should. It's ranked for a reason. The place ya'll have prided as the way to show your skill and hard work, but sadly that is not the case. You force us all to hold the hands of children who want to troll. It's pathetic and depressing. I expect a lot more from you as a company. A LOT MORE! I know ya'll will never fix it, but ya'll should have realized by now that this issue plagues all ranks all over the world. Just saying Riot, get your act together.

These things that you complain about are part of the game's difficulty. Yeah, toxicity wasn't intended by Riot but you can mostly mute that and if it goes into active sabotage that's the post where you report them. But bad teammates? Those are normal and everyone has them.

When you have, for example, a Ziggs supp with Ahri ADC with 90% loss rate it means that you've lost the game in champion select. And that's fine because you can dodge, take slight LP loss and continue after slight delay - that's the function of dodging. The point is that bad teammates will inevitably happen but it will happen to you as much as it will happen to your opponents.

So champion select requires a strategic approach: you have to judge your teammates based on their behaviour and picks then either proceed or dodge. This has a side benefit: if you're min-maxing your champion select, you're increasing your chances of having, if not a winning then at least a positive game.

I agree. It is impossible to solo carry anymore. I main jungle and if I'm yhr only one that knows what they're doing, the game is lost. The jungler and either top or Mid of every game needs to be able to carry the game to win. That, or the bit lane but that's a lot harder since it's two people in one lane. With reinforces the point. If the adc is brain-dead but the supp is good, the lane loses and vice versa. Both adc and supp need to be good and have excellent communication or the lane loses.

I can't prove how good I am as a jungler if all the lanes lose before I finish my first clear.

I'll like to see someone like NB3 win a game, single handedly with all the lanes lost in his side.

To climb out of silver, you are basically required to duo Q with someone else in order to climb.

I've become pretty salty lately and as a result I dodge quite a bit. I take my punishment like a man.

If everybody starts dodging as much as I do, there isn't going to be a single game starting, ever.

This happens extremely rarely in high silver to gold that I am in now. I can also solo carry games if I decide to play Quinn.

Even if I play very well, I cannot carry a game if a lane goes 0/10. Yes the person they fed is extremely strong and seems impossible to kill without trading my own life, but that isn't even the problem. The problem is when someone throws incredibly hard, a cannot stop them from getting an inhib. I cannot be in all lanes at once and I cannot kill enough of their team to stop someone from split pushing. 1 person can ruin a game, 1 person cannot carry

This is an impossible problem to solve. Once upon a time, support Annie or jungle Vayne was not a thing. But when you get a giant flaming teddy bear dropped on your ass by the support or 2 hit true damage sated devourer jungler, shit gets real. People try new ideas all the time as that's something Riot wants they call strategic diversity. Maybe a combination of charm, mobility of the ultimate can actually make Ahri a good ADC? Who knew ADC Mordekaiser can be a thing? Who knew tank Akali can win? It's easy to say ADC Mordekaiser is a troll or tank Akali or support Annie or jungle Vayne if they didn't do that well or you lost. But there is no practical way Riot can limit the champions you can select for each position.

riot doesn't punish trolling or intentional feeding. or intentional losing or afking. if they do. 90% of toxicity will be solved.

for example. last game. i had a bad game. against orianna. she counters me. i made a cpl good plays. stole dragon. but i was like "Sorry guys i don't exactly know what to do against orianna i can't do much this game"

MEANWHILE. my 2/12 twisted fate is like "its not my fault its everyone elses". wtf. every single lane won. and u fed. all those lanes after.

if i have a bad game. i don't throw the blame on someone else but me. thats my fault.

If you take away a punishment from dodging ranked ques the system will get abused. Maybe someone doesn't enjoy a match up or they didn't get their preferred role. Have fun finding a game with a system like that.

I believe its very fair right now, only 3 lp loss for the first dodge and a 5 minute wait timer which you want regardless to avoid the troll you just encountered. Sure you may find trolls in multiple games in a day, maybe take the day off. Avoid playing on weekends when there will be a lot of traffic. Play at odd times etc.

Lastly, trolls are part of any community, whether it be irl or another video game. Riot can only do their best and try to please the largest percent of the community they can. Nobody enjoys trolls, but by "raging" or "complaining" you are only letting them get to you, and that is the reason why there are trolls, because people take the bait.
