PSA for people with a Tahm Kench on their team

So let's suppose you're playing an immobile bruiser like Darius , and there's a 10% health Teemo running away and you want to Dunk that furry bastard off the face of the Earth, but your summoner 4 is down, you don't have item 3800, and he's getting away.

Now let's say your allied TahmKench runs up and devours you.

Please, DO NOT immediately jump out and start chasing the Teemo, chase under his tower, step on a bunch of shrooms, and die a pathetic and embarassing death. DO NOT type "wtf TK eat me and Teemo got away" in team chat and type "REPORT TAHM FOR TROLL" in all-chat.

You see, your buddy TahmKench gets BONUS MOVESPEED towards enemies while holding an ally in his belly. Being an intelligent player, your buddy TahmKench devoured you to get the bonus movespeed so he could catch up to the enemy Teemo. Then, once he's nearby, he'll hit Teemo with a Q to slow him and spit you out next to him. Now you can press R to dunk that evil rodent back to the 9th circle of hell where he belongs.

Don't forget to thank your buddy TahmKench. Type "gj" or the likes in the chat!

Another thing I hate is when I see a good gank opportunity with my ult and desperately ping my jungler to come over to me while also pinging my ult and they just ignore me completely.

I honestly love Tahm Kench, but I hate playing with non-premades. The only times I have played TK I have explicitly said in chat to not go out of my nom early, to let me make that call. Does it work? Sometimes.

Love having a good master chef on the squad :) he really does a good job serving up the enemy team on a silver platter, also his ult is so fun for flanks!

Most players don't understand how his ult works and that's something that looks obvious visually, I don't think they'll ever understand this aspect even if we tell it to them.

One of my favorite memories though is of my jungler stealing a dragon by flashing into the pit but then having no way to get out and me running up to the edge from the jungle side and him understanding, before I could even ping him, what I wanted him to do and he went to the edge and I ate him over the wall and saved him. When someone understands what Tahm's kit is capable of it's great.

Basically STOP right clicking when you get eaten.

Nothing is more frustrating as a TK than devouring your 10 hp ally, running towards a wall, having your ally eject themselves because they are panic clicking, and then you flash over the wall. TK and Thresh are the few champions who basically give their allies a second flash (third in Thresh's case, since his lantern is such a long range to begin with). Just let us help you.

More TK PSA:

#If you want to gank bot and you have a TK support with ult up, you can go behind your bot turret where the enemy don't have vision, and Tham can ult both of you behind their ADC/SUP, better than you walk like a dumbass right into their ward at the river.

#If you're fighting someone and Tham eats you, it's because he wants to soak some damage plus AA 3 times for a stun, then spits you, so stop flaming and leaving their mouth or you'll get both of you killed.

Why can people leave anyway? Why not let Tahm have the say so on when and where they get spit out? Sure, he could be a troll, but that's what the report system is for if it comes to that. If they are spamming right clicks in the game, why should playing with a Tahm on their team force them off of their OCD?

Guessing due to trolls who eat their teammates and spit them into the enemy fountain? Or the other troll types who nom nom you right before you secure the kill, then they try to ks your kill? I love playing w/ tk in premade.. When it is a random, some games they rock, some they troll hard..

But we can't always trust the players to get banned.. I think tahm w is fine, I usually just type out in chat what my abilities do so my teammates have an idea of what to do and what not to do.

Also if you are an ADC/Melee auto champ and I ult to their open nexus don't go kill hunting in the teamfight about to happen, JUMP IN MY FUCKING MOUTH

The difference is that if somebody picked Ryze in my solo queue games, they've already betrayed my trust once, so I'd be a fool to even consider stepping in that portal.

Ugh don't even get me started. I've had adc's argue with me on several occasions about being able to leave TK devour early and choosing which direction to get out. A kalista left my devour early and placed herself under the enemy turret, then blamed me for it :[

That's why Kalista suffers with strangers, you're asking them to play 1.5 champions, one of which they didn't sign up for, even if they supposedly agreed to it. So much lying on the internet, you can't even trust they are okay with your pick just because they didn't complain or told you it was fine.

The issue is that for every good Tahm, there are 20 bad Tahms that I have also played with. The ones who don't understand MY champion and pull me out of fights I can win. So I don't like being in his belly.

Yeah, I've tried to do exactly that, and my ally does that every time. They should have made him a pokemon master and put his ally in a pokeball, less people would rebel with that I'm guessing.

SO many people don't understand that they get to pick where and when they get spat out. So many times I get flamed for spitting them back into the enemy team and I'm just left to try to explain mid flame why I didn't do anything wrong. And thus is the life of a support.

Also a I'd like to add... You can control where you come out if you want, and if you click early you will accidentally come out sooner. If you are scared and tahm eats you, let him take control chance are he will run and spit you in the safest position. Only come out early if you need to, or if Tahm accidentally eats you instead of the enemy (it happens to the best of us).

Just my opinion

Don't eat darius, just run at teemo slow with your basic auto (if you have glacier and or deadmans) or just tongue him so darius can catch up. Using the movespeed and eating darius is making it so you don't have a large cooldown that can save you both, something that can be used to finish the teemo if darius can't, and also relies on the other person to have any idea what's going on in the game.

If you want to be complete add in the post that going footwork on tahm jungle isn't trolling but it's actually one of the correct ways to go and running it down mid to show tahm how much he's trolling isn't the right response. For awareness.

As much as good Tahm players can get things done, and I try to play accordingly with them, I just can't trust them. I hate the concept of Devour in every way and I personally think it should not exist. Trolls are also too prevalent with that champ so I cannot trust the Tahm eating me that he will actually help me get the kill. I always wait and see for a moment but as soon as it seems like he is hindering me, I will immediately get away from him and probably for the rest of the game too. Another player having the ability to take control of my character at any given time should not be a thing that exists in this game. I believe it even goes against Riots own design policies from older seasons. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Riot has said something along the lines of "We will never have a mechanic in the game that takes control from another player to give it to someone else". And if they haven't said that, they should.

Another one: please if I eat you as the Kench in order to save your life DO NOT MOVE CLICK. You can stay in my belly for a long time and unless you have some form of Regen, don’t jump out immediately just to die two seconds later than usual.

Every time I have a Tahm on my team.

When I'm low health and running away from an ADC about to get away, he eats me, turns around and runs to the ADC, and spits me out so I die.

When I'm high health, he picks me up, dumps me into a group of foes and runs away.

Of course, now I realize I can leave on my own, so I'm leaving that garbage troll champ every time- biggest troll even worse than Anivia and that girl that builds walls.
