Why I am choosing to stay. (I don't care about downvotes)

I have played since late season 4. I am not a true veteran, but I have experience and a voice like the rest of us. a little secret, I actually played in season 3. on another account, another name. I could only fight bots and I would still feed my ass off. I eventually played the tankiest champion in league Rammus so I wouldn't be a burden to my team. I liked other games more back then. So I quit.

I came back when I learned that all the hyper smart kids at my high school played this game. I was an A student, but not A+. So I gave it a shot. My first champion was Janna (I fed less that way) and after that, Karma. Even on my previous account all I wanted was Elise. Come on who doesn't want to play as the spider queen? but alas,I found my true main after i found Evelynn. and damn did I have a pain in the ass time learning her. It was season 5 then. and I was still a support main although I did lots of off meta stuff. I loved solwolf. But I always seemed to return to her. I always fed. But then It clicked. I finally started winning, soon I bought Elise and found out she was gutted a while ago. I played her mid anyways....and lo and behold, she was really strong! I loved it Eve in every position and Elise my go-to if Eve was banned of countered by no less that five players on the enemy team.

now I don't play Elise much I find her more one-dimensional and I don't believe in building her tank. She slowly fell behind the clutch king Ryze and is slowly falling to Taliyah, but I know i will return her to me some day.

Now for why I chose to stay.

I have worked too hard to quit now.

I have spent so much time on this game. I have never been much for multiplayer since codmw2 and dark souls. But this game has never failed to place clutch moments, patient grinding, and hardship into each match. I have worked so hard, come so far, and all to quit? I may be silver 5, but dammit it's still something I am proud of. (btw always looking for a group and no smurfs).

Lore makes my reading bug burn

Goddamn I love the lore. Even though they needed to change it. I want to continue learning more about the world. The bilgewater events were soooooooo goood. I loved Gangplank's rework style, how they did it. and I want to keep learning more (I ship Riven x Ryze btw)

Regarding mastery & crafting

While I don't care much for the need for rng, you still need skill to get the tokens, and omg everyone is so eager to quit because they hate the thing THAT LITERALLY JUST CAME OUT. And besides, if you don't like it, don't do it. Eventually things will add up and you'll get what you deserve. It may not as good as smite's system of free shit but It's a step. Riot is a company and if we want to keep playing, riot needs some form of cash flow. Quit harping them.

About dynamic Queue

I honestly could care less. If I fight a premade, I will kill them all the same. I don't trash talk them. I don't bm them. I let my complete and utter destruction over them show them that a premade means nothing to a good player.

About balance

Riot has favourites. BECAUSE YOU GUYS MAKE THEM FAVOURITES. OMG If people actually expressed the fact that they want x champion nerfed, buffed, or otherwise, they need to form an argument. Not a rant, a college-style argument. I worked hard on an essay on why Evelynn needed a buff and Not that long after she somehow got one. Call it wishful thinking but I think someone heard me. People who play the Fotm champions like Zed Ekko Graves Lucian Are all strong at one time. So more people exploit them to win. these people then buy skins for the strong champion because it shos everyone that they have put time and effort into them. Riot is making money now and is hesitant to nerf them or else; 1. The community will cry like they did with Lee sin, and 2. Riot will lose money by ruining the thing that allows them to feed their families. balance comes in time. Soon another item will be removed due to it being broken by one or two champs, like with Evelynn and runeglaive. or Tanks with cinderhulk.

A final note

I chose to stay because I love this game and find it so fun and interesting. And seeing these "veterans" leave makes me want to stay more. The newer players need people to help them find out who they want to play, rather than having them become Fotm Assholes.

I'm a veteran and I feed like I'm on a world hunger eradication camp.

Ofcourse I'm not too satisfied with the new season 6 changes. But I can't tell somebody to change something just because I don't like it.

I've played since Season 1. I stay because I have fun. I have fun by not playing ranked, and just playing normals with my friends :) I feel like as long as I'm playing normals I enjoy the game because its just a game. Playing ranked takes the "game" out of League of Legends and makes it just a competition.

Joined around patch 5.6 here and have been playing for about a year now... Gotta say this is one hell of a good post! I've got my faves for certain roles. Sadly yes Zed is one of my many faves for mid, BUT its because I like his playstyle. If he got nerfed... FUCK IT I DON'T CARE! I'd keep playing him! BECAUSE I enjoy the playstyle of getting rid of the enemy carry! Hearing that glorious Death Mark "POP" is satisfying too!

Maybe Zed does need nerfs, but I just don't know where or how. I'm just a nub still. Malzahar was the first champion I earned level 5 mastery with BEFORE the MYMU. Changes where good and bad. Now his Voidlings can actually feel like they make an impact instead of just getting one measly Voidling for casing four spells...

As this guy says: Khazix "Change...is good."

I just gotta adapt.

I joined in midseason 2, and I play because this game is ****ing awesome. It's fun, not a grind, and rewards skill and improvement.
