Struggling against Nasus atm

I promise this isn't a whine post, just genuinely curious about ways to stop Nasus. I used to just smash him in lane and then try to end asap, but with jungle pressure being up so much all it takes is a freeze and a semi-present jungler to stop that.

With the quicker stacking, and inability to kill him in lane it's not long before he's to the point where it takes 2 people to deal with him. So without having a Vayne and an enchanter, how do you keep this old dog down?

Stopping Nasus from stacking is a noob trap if you're not playing someone who can hard zone him or outright kill him easily in the early game.

What you should do is focus on your wave control so as to minimize your pushing to his tower, farming your best, and looking to make plays elsewhere to get you and your team ahead enough to negate any advantage Nasus could get by splitting. Only fight him if you are absolutely sure you can kill him, otherwise he'll sit under tower and lifesteal back when the wave crashes.

Playing an aggressive early game champ can help, and committing to the playstyle too when you play that champ. Quinn, renekton and Darius are the top three champs that I recommend against nasus. Quinn is kinda difficult as you HAVE to get an early lead, and you have to snowball it enough that you can easily run around and gank the other lanes while your jungler holds top.

Renekton is just renekton lol. His dashes and empowered W fuck nasus over during the early game, especially if the renekton goes PTA.

And darius just overall dumpsters almost everybody in lane. His E and W make it very hard for nasus to get away, and conq (both old and reworked versions) can help Darius shred through Nasus.

Look for an update soon.

There is a few things here. There is both picking the right champion, and knowing how to manage the wave so that Nasus gets as little free time as possible.

Vayne is a VERY bad choice for vs nasus. I have used Nasus vs Vayne and built pretty much just armor and no health and brutally messed her up even tower diving. She

Ive found Trundle to be quite effective, Teemo when going Grasp and more of an on hit tanky build... anyone who has some sort of usage outside of auto attacks will be able to do something.

Mordekaiser with Hail of Blades will also do quite well if you are good enough with him, the Nasus will expect to have the auto attack advantage on you then you just pop out having Hail of Blades going on your Q and shield up most of his damage. Might or might not be able to kill him, but you can set him back and you can eventually poke him down and potentially kill him with ultimate later on (i recommend liandries, thornmail, and tabi vs Nasus if you are on par with him.... rylais before thorn if you are ahead).

Play Darius, Sion if you are good with him or Ap Cho.

Well you don't just outright stop them, Nasus is a champion that gets to play the game too you know. The old rule is to just attack him when he cses, ESPECIALLY if he uses his Q, then you can win a trade because he is locked in his attack animation ESPECIALLY if he is missing an ability. General top lane mechanics apply, if he's jungling same rules apply but you can probably have ab etter kit. Oh, and itemize against him, play around his cooldowns, wave management stuff, attack his mana and just kite him out in fights. Nasus is a bad champ right now
