But please don't make the Nexus Blitz map look like a mini Summoners Rift.
I really want it to have it's own unique look and feel like it belongs in Runeterra.
This is all assuming Nexus Blitz stays around permanently.
I saw someone suggesting that it could look like the Zaun Underground.
Not only would this add the Zaun aesthetic into the game, which is currently lacking, it would also correlate with how Nexus Blitz is meant to be chaotic.
Should be Bandle City themed. Small yordles, small map.
Also we never get any kind of love from Riot so it's fitting.
If they go through with making NB permanent, then they will give the map it's own unique visuals.
Right now, they have been focused on getting the gameplay solidified during these testing phases. Creating a new & unique look for the map would take a lot of time & work. It would be a waste to do that while the gameplay is unpolished.
The best suggestion I've heard was to do it as Zaun sewers or something, plus they need to change rift herald to have their own look to fit the theme.
What about multiple Nexus Blitz maps? I think it would add diversity and a fresh air each game
I cant remember exactly when but I believe they did confirm that NB would have a different "skin" from SR if they make it into a new permanent map, they're just using the same look as SR for tests incase they drop the project.
I agree. I think it would be pretty nice if Nexus Blitz had its own location on the map of Runeterra, thus having its own unique aesthetic and visuals. Plus it makes people be more involved in the lore of the game, and wash away that monotony of always playing Summoners Rift.
