I mean her kit has to be one of the most toxic in the game, even someone like Katarina or Akali kit doesn't stand up to Lux's, think of it, a fast long range bind that literally guarantees a kill, and help us god she doesn't build a Mejai's. OH and don't forget the "skill-shot" Lucent Singularity.
Anyway just my opinion, let me know what you guys think.

Her E alone is a pain due to how quickly she can reactivate it and all she has to do is get it near you and you will have no idea if you will be in it's AOE or not till it lands. If you are just barely on the outer edge, she can just have it go off early to make sure you get hit by it.
Zero Skill Tank5 votesDodging her E is quite often straight up impossible - if Lux simple points center of your hitbox with mouse, without any leading or prediction etc, MS needed to dodge it well exceeds what most champions get with tier-2 boots - your champion needs to cover more than 400 units in less than a second. If we include some humanly reaction time and average ping in calculation, required MS can go well over 500.

Zero Skill Tank5 votesYep, her kit is terrible. She got hit pretty hard with latest changes to the game, but whenever she is strong she is second-worst midlaner to play against after Zed. And mostly for the same reason - heavy bullying with little breathing room for enemy team, coupled with extensive amounts of safety.

I watch her do it and miss sometimes and she has every ability on cd because she just hits everything. The hit box for her snare is just dumb and the range of it is ludicrous.

Her passive allows her to nuke someone everytime she lands her abilities which isn't hard at all.
her ult is on a 50 second cooldown and has innacurate hitboxes everywhere.

Blue Moon Wolf3 votesThere are few champs that I hate to see on the enemy team, and she is one of them. Her E is likely the most bull s#!t thing I've seen as far as a skill shot goes. It has a huge AOE, it slows you while you are in it, she can reactivate it as soon as it lands so you don't even have a chance to dodge before it goes and it does really good damage for an ability that has so much going for it.
The way you counter her is supposed to be jumping on top of her, but her Q locks you (and an ally) out for ages and if you can avoid that, she still has a shield that reapplies itself, something I bet 
wishes he had. Then to top it off, her long ranged death beam ult has a cooldown lower than just about every other ult in the game, even though it can one shot an ADC without so much as half a second to react.
I know that she is mana hungry which is still a big problem, but one 
and that problem makes itself go away, even more if you go cheap and buy 
so you can get something like

Kaioko1 votesAs someone who mains Lux - she can be very strong but she also as a lot of weaknesses. Her early game can be strong only if the opposing mid laner let's you hit your E + auto + passive to proc TL. If the mid laner stays away after being hit by E she'll actually run out of mana before you can get through their 2 health potions. Combine that with if they have MR runes or if they get an abyssal and it's essentially over.
Then you've got the mid game. Really the only time you can shine you've got about a 15 minute window where if you can bind a squishy target you can combo them and kill them. If you don't win the game there your usefulness suddenly takes a massive drop.
Late game people can counter your combo with having MR, Mercurial, or Zhonyas all of which will stop you from killing them. Your damage is good but your CDs even with 45% CDR cap stops you from outputting enough in teamfights. You essentially become a secondary support and you better hope your ADC is good enough to make up for your share of the damage.

That part's not true at all. Whether or not you get the kill, you still completely remove someone from the fight if you land your combo on a squishy target. If you build a Void Staff, you will still kill the ADC if they only have one MR item.
That being said, Lux is fine where she is. You either outplay her or don't. When you do, she has to either run or auto-attack you until her CDs come back or she dies.
masterChief3141 votesWhat pisses me off EVEN MORE is how allusive these Lux mains are. One minute I'm farming and then 3 secs. later I'm gone. Then I go and try and get them and can't because they are in a duo queue with Insec and they 2v1 me to death.
Rebonack1 votesThe only thing I find particularly aggravating about Lux (barring laugh spam) is that you don't get to see what the target area of her E is going to be. 'Is hard to read' isn't a very compelling strength for a skill. 's why they changed up Cho's Rupture, after all.
