Silver to Gold?

I've been having some problems recently, I usually end my games well above average, say, 10/1/15 or 16/7/14. Ever since I hit silver 1 promo's, my last 6 games or so have been nothing but 0/10, 1/15, 3/9. Is this just me psyching myself out, or is there a reasonable explanation for this. The skill gap between Silver 1 and Gold 5 can not be that massive.

Has something changed, or is this where the majority of the smurfs are or something? Maybe this is where the placement games are held? I'm not sure, could someone give me some advice, or an explanation?

Actually, skill tends to drop between s1/g5 and g1/p5 etc. You're probably psyching yourself out or just getting backwards players on your team. Just play more, you'll get there.

I mean, I can't get out of Gold 4, I keep going back and forth between Gold 4 and Gold 5 because literally everyone sucks. That includes me, but I can't do anything no matter what I do. If I'm doing good, my team sucks, and if I'm doing bad, my team still sucks.

You're probably just used to getting carried and now you're versing people that are decent and you're losing because they outclass you on average

Ending games with stats as 27/4/19 is not getting carried, that would make me the carry on average. I just feel like the mentality has changed. There is a hell of alot "FIRST BLOOD" "GG report" "afk"

One of the main issues I'm noticing is team comps are shit at this elo, Bronze has better team comps. The majority of people who just jump into a room and say dont ban this, have no interest of a team comp or even if the enemy team counters them x5.

If I'm rising in elo why are my allies idiots. And how have they gotten this far not knowing what a "Late game team" is?
