I am hoping that Riot officially decides to bring back his original kit where you can open up the pool with your w and your passive is the voidling thing ;-; I LOVED THAT KIT SO MUCH.
But the chances of them doing that is at a all times lows and we'll probably see a random Rioter come in and say "Hey Guys! I am Riot ____ and I'm going to rework Malzahar" basically the Cass treatment which seem'd to work?
Lugg2 votesI totally agree that Malz's old kit was way better than the rework. There was literally nothing wrong with it that a few number tweaks wouldn't have solved.
The Lost Marbles1 votesI'm in the minority, but I wish Riot would just forget about the voidlings entirely.
Malzahar's not a minionmancer, and his kit was never designed to be a minionmancer (outside of URF at least). Not like Zyra/Heimer/Yorick, whose kits actually interact with their summons. Voidlings were just situational bonus damage, on a kit that already had enough damage.
Plus, as we've seen, trying to push his voidlings forward as a core gameplay mechanic did not end well at all.
