As the jungler, if I get invaded and get no help from my laners

Then I won't be ganking for you. Ever.

I don't give a fuck about your farm, or how much you're dicking your enemy laner. Jungling is a 2-way street: I help you through ganks and objective control, and you help me when I get invaded by the enemy jungler.

Honestly, I don't even care if we lose a 2v2 in our jungle. Just the fact that you came to help shows a great deal about how much you value your jungler's presence. A laner who refuses to help because their own selfish needs take priority is a laner who doesn't care one bit about the well-being of their jungler.

As such, I won't give a second though to these laners, and will simply gank for the other lanes. Don't like it? Maybe try playing like this is a team game next time.

So you'd rather have you and your laner die and show that they care rather than you dying and them not helping because they were in a situation where they would die if they came along?

Like, if the laner had good hp and wasn't behind too far yea, they should go help but when they're gonna die with you?

I've seen it in reverse more often, I'm getting ganked and the jg's at krugs just chilling

Right, because the jungler is supposed to just sit in your lane bush all the time and wait for a counter-gank. If I'm jungling and I see my laner get ganked, I'm going to hurry my ass over there as fast as possible. Unless they're on the other side of the map, I'm going to help them, and if I die alongside them, well, I guess we got outplayed. And that happens. Better to try and fail than fail to try.

? I'm saying if they happen to be at krugs and mid's being ganked they should come along unless they have a situation where they shouldn't, not to camp it

But what if I'm 10% hp and will die from one hit of any ability? But what if I'm having a either you die or I do duel? What if the enemy jg is 10/0 and I'm 0/4?

I agree, unless they were oom or incredibly low health.

J/s.. this is one of the reasons we have summoner spells.. laners aren't suppose to drop everything and run to the jng if the jnglr is invaded.. if the jnglr isn't bad they can handle it.. them being countered or not.

I mean, if the enemy Jungler is being smart about it, Chances are they are invading BECAUSE your teammates are in no position to help.

If my bot side is pushed in, I would be weary of an invade, since my bot lane can't really leave without losing minion farm. But if you really are in your jungle, (and not the river) retreating to any lane will give you protection from a tower.

Okay, i'm a jungle main. If you don't ward the entrance to where you're jungling than you must be bad.

Sure, let me just go ahead and drop 5 wards in every single path where the enemy jungler might invade me. Besides, even if I do see them coming, I expect some form of backup in case things go south.

Really? Because, honestly, I'd care a lot if my laner was stupid enough to walk into a 2v2 we were probably going to lose. That's what would keep me away from ganking for him in the future. If his decision making is that bad, I'd rather get someone else on the team fed.

I mean, I agree with the idea that laners should help a jungler who is getting invaded if they can, but if they're not going to get something productive done, I don't want to see them wasting time coming to help me. I like it when my teammates don't feel compelled to make a bad situation worse by doing something unproductive.

And this highlights why no one follows your retarded calls

It's the principle of the thing. Laners expect ganks 24/7, but they won't even help their jungler fight off an invade? Like wtf, some reciprocity would be nice.

He makes a point, the right play>principles. If the laner really cant help because hes going to lose 2 waves of farm, then you have to get out of the jungle and lose 2 camps. Because a laner losing 2 waves is WAY worst than a jungler losing 2 camps, if a laner loses 2 waves they are going to be completely denied from farm the entire game because "the jungler needed me to help", junglers can always farm somewhere else, he can always gank or get vision, put pressure for their team. Laners dont have that luxury when they are losing, mostly if they lose 2v2 in the jungle.

And I know how to play Top,Mid,Jungle, and ADC so I understand the basics of all the roles. And in platinum/diamond elo, if you get screwed in lane, you REALLY get screwed.

You're the jungler.

It's your fault.

What are the conditions you would accept a laner not helping?

If they are under 40% HP, completely oom (in the case of champions who use mana), or are about to take their T1 tower. Any one of these would disqualify them from needing to help. In any other scenario, I'd expect the laner to help.

Cool thanks. I can get behind that.

As much as I hate to say it, he has a point, if youre not willing to help him and be a teammate, why should he help you when he can get advantage somewhere else since you didnt help him. If he called for you for help, and you didnt, why should he if you call for him. Its a 2 way street, unless youre getting fucked in lane so hard that you cant help.

But one thing I have to say to you is, if there is a huge farm top, you have to let the top laner get it, because you losing 2 camps is nothing compared to a top/mid laner losings TWO WAVES of minions. 2 waves early game can lose you the game if the opposing laner knows what they are doing.

I wish I could agree with this. To an extent yes they should help you because you'll help them in lane, but from and stand point of winning is more important than proving a point, junglers should be willing to take some bullshit and still help your lanes out. I've played ranked games where I haven't been leashed or had to deal with some counter jungler like udyr or skarner, but I don't just go "okay top never helped me? I'll just let this x top laner get fed off of them then". That's the wrong way to look at it, Instead of thinking they deserve this because they didn't help me, its better to be a bigger person and shrug off their mistakes and still help them. They're still your teammates after all and the goal shouldn't be too see how they struggle, it should be to work together even with some disagreements so that you can succeed.

Basically that's a bad mindset to have as a jungler.
