Low priority que is just ridiculous and way to unforgiving.

20 minutes i have to wait.. 20 fricken minutes and why? I dont know if its just because of this patch, or maybe the bug thats on rumble and vik their fixing right now but dam. Every time ive played a match today so far my pc or the server has disconnected me from the match and this seriously hasn't ever happened to me for quite some good months.

Its not even that though, all the games i got dc'd from i at least came back to game and even won some of my matches. However the first few matches because of these Dc's which im very sure is not my internet caused me to go into low priority match for 10 mins for 5 games so what did i do?

I played games ofc because i wanted to get out of this low priority match asap which im very sure isn't my fault. I never rage,quit,spam troll but most of all I NEVER QUIT A GAME intentionally but my last game yet again for some strange reason i ended up Dc'ing again. It was my 3rd match in this low priority which meant i only needed to play 2 more games to get out of this.

I did everything i could to get back in game i mean for goodness i was already in low priority so why would i want to Dc again? I ended up reconnecting in about 7 mins and was able to push hard and just about win the game getting 11 Lp, great right? nope.

Low priority 20 minutes for 5 games again. I cant play with my cousin anymore because like hell he wants to wait 20 mins for a match anymore The punishment on this is just way to harsh even though i reconnected in all my games ,i don't know if anyone will read this but i pray if anyone is out there then do something about this somehow. I dont want to quit because I've put far to much time and money into this game but to wait this long for five matches again because the servers keep whacking out. I just don't know what to do anymore.This method of punishment is just Rage inducing.

TL;DR Low priority Que is way to unforgiving and seriously needs to get toned down a bit.

Can you help me understand something?
You know you DC often, but you queue for ranked anyway knowing you'll be gone from the game for periods of time (in the instance above 7 minutes)?
Do you honestly believe other players should be tolerant of your poor connection and that they should be in a 4v5 and risk having a loss in that time because "You want to play" in spite of your connection problems?

I am pretty sure he doesn't disconnect every game to "know he'll be gone".

Mostly such disconnections happen because of some technical issue with the provider which is usually out of your control. And believe me, to most people (not including trolls) its equally frustrating for the player who has disconnected as it is with the players in his team. Currently the leavebuster activates when you afk 2 games in a period of a few days. At least it is so in my experience. (Yes i did get a 5 min ban on the day the new leavebuster came live) But mostly it was quite uncalled for considering my record of being a green ribbon player. In my opinion bringing back the Tribunal will help as the community gets to judge who gets punished and I am more than proud of being a part of such an honorable and a fair community as is that of League of Legends.

No My connection is just fine and i don't normally DC often Like i said i reconnected into those same matches and even won some of them and this all happened today. Some of them weren't even 7 mins, that was just the longest out of them but yet still i get put into low priority match.

I remember back long long ago if i ever for some reason got Dc'd and came back within a reasonable time nothing would happen and it would all be fine. This time however it just seems like the moment you come out even if you do your best to come back within a few minutes regardless if you do or not you get thrown into prison island.

The 5 minute one i got was like last month btw... Even thats an issue. After almost a month of never Dcing after the 5 minute one why did it move to 10? I thought after a good while of playing with no dc it would reset but nope

You don't start with 20 min queue wait. U start with 5 mins, then 10 mins, then it becomes 20.

Intentionally or not, you still left the game, ruining it for nine other people.

It's like saying, "I didn't mean to kill him, so why am I being punished for it?"

Now killing someone is in no way comparable to leaving a match in a video game, but the principle is the same. Whether or not you meant to break the rules, rules were still broken and the penalty is low priority queues. But like someone else has said, it doesn't start at a 20 minute queue, so you've left games before.

actually its nothing like killing someone... more like 'man sorry i crashed into you made you spill your coffee'. I do think however that a person attempting to or connecting and making a sizable contribution despite his/her temporary afk should be treated with leniency.

Sweet mother of holy panda... you disconnect - you are afk - Leaverbuster WORKING AS DESIGNED.

I don't give a crap if your cat ate your sister and you had to leave to avernge her death or you have shit internet and just get popped off once and a while: Both have the EXACT SAME EFFECT ON YOUR TEAM - you left.

Leaverbuster: Punishing players who leave games CONSISTENTLY. No one is punished for occasional emergencies or one time internet flubs. If you're under punishment it's because of a TREND of disconnects.
