If Riot wanted to make Pyke an Assassin Support, why didnt they make him AP?
AD itemization is just way to good at covering his weaknesses in solo lanes.
Need waveclear? 
A lot of the AD items that have CDR also have HP so he is double dipping from things like 
Builds AD so less reliant on abilities to deal damage, once he is on top of you he can auto.
Then you have 
to also increase his kill power in solo lane.
Cant build bonus HP? that's okay Assassins don't build HP anyways however he can build 
to help with survivability
If their intent was to make him mainly support AP should of been the way to go, i do not even know how they could adjust Pyke to where he wouldn't be played primarily mid.
