Riot can we get a guarantee...

That those 5% of games won't be bigger than a 1 person gap? The difference between 4+1 versus 5 and 3+2 versus 5 is pretty big I bet, and even if it's only 1% I think the feeling of getting 5 solos versus a ranked 5 team may be so miserable that legitimately the only way to play ranked anymore for many people would be to go on boards recruitment and find clubs (basically guilds w/out some of the cool rewards for being such a group from what I can see) that are in your time zone so you ALWAYS have 4 or 5 people to que w/.

If ranked solo que has an experience that every once in a while is so lop sided it's like riot says "Hey guys, we couldn't find a good match for these guys so we're just gonna put 4 of you against them so we can get a game started. Don't worry we will only give you an AFK disadvantage intentionally in a small % of your games." it's gonna feel far worse than when you currently get a bad team and it's just bad luck and not the system design. So can we please get a yes or no (and hopefully yes) that you won't match large groups against almost all solo players?

They announced in the original thread that if you're a 5 man premade, there is a 95% chance you will go against another 5 man premade. Which is actually not the best simply because if you take in account of how many games are played daily, 5% is a pretty large amount and you can just say "fml"

I've came to the conclusion they're going to end up killing the ranked ladder system.

I think they should save the team play for ranked teams.

There is a huge fucking difference between a 5 vs 1+1+1+1+1 and a 5 vs 4+1 though and riot hasn't said if the first one is allowed or not in the new system. Currently it looks like it is and 5% of the games played every day is fucking huge, so it matters a whole lot. Yes it still fucks w/ the system to have multi player que instead of solo, but not having a huge disparity makes it less of an issue, and half of the front page right now is people freaking out bc of the possibility of the first grouping more so than the second. It might be less of a controversial issue if riot gave us a guarantee that the second group match up is the only one that happens in that 5%.

I agree is it going to be a huge issue, but I HIGHLY doubt they would actually allow a 5 vs 1+1+1+1+1, or a 5v3+1+1 for that matter. Its going to be interesting to see how all this works out, but im not expecting great results from this new Que because bronze will probably become non-existent.

In theory it should at least be significantly reduced in terms of % of player base.

You know we are talking about 1 every 20 games that you may or may not lose right? Look at it by this logic, usually in premade 5s, one person sucks! in premade 3s, your two buddies and yourself are probably hyper carries. Maybe getting that extra 1-2 random players might better! Who knows, maybe you are the carry player that will be the key to the squad :)

Sure, there will be negatives, but think about how gameplay will change. The teamwork will be very real.

The elo boosting is going to be really real**

Believe it or not, a fairly-large portion of players are actually carried from bronze-silver and silver-gold.

Riot should also be focused on how this system can be abused and a lot of players already see the issue's with it.

If they allow for 4-5 man premades in this new que, we will be talking about Diamond smurfs consistently abusing this new system against bronze-gold players with their friends.

Elo boosting is already real, wouldn't you rather have 4 elo boosters on those accounts they are boosting in 1 game instead of 5? 4 people playing to boost 1 person is just losing money. Its way more likely to find boosters in solo queue than in team queue. I'm not sure if i can beat one booster in solo, but i might be able to in team play, bring it on!

Final solution, use the system for yourself and find a diamond buddy to carry you!! jkjk
