When you guys released Zyra was her primary role a Mid laner or a support laner? When the game starts whether it be mid lane or support, the starter items suggest her to buy support items.
Personally, I want Zyra to be like Syndra. Where Zyra is more known as a Mid laner than a support.

Zyra is an AMAZING mid laner and her late game is beautiful but she lacks efficient AP power in early/mid game compared to most AP champions out there.
It's like saying, " No Zyra, you can't have any kills till late game, for now just be a utility machine"

Wisenheimer1 votesThen ur statements are contradicting. Ap burst mages were nerfed significantly ATM this season. This comes from the combined mastery and ap price changes. She's a utility zone control mage. Its one of the best times to play her. And late game ATM is hitting at 20 minutes with games being pubstomps. And. If you land a e-w-q-w combo on some around lvl 3-4 you do a significant amount of damage. Her damage is actually fine ATM. There's some argument for reworking her passive as its useless more often than not but riots already stated they will look at her again early next year/end of this year
Stacona1 votesRiot has no intended role for champions, and when they get released to LIVE the player base decides where champions may go (mage and marksman Kennen/Kog'Maw) and Zyra has very high utility and base damages and requires little gold to function which is why she is a support, and even if you go mid with her she is still a support by end game
Zyra support is back this season with the spell thief line changes, corrupting potion, and thunderlord's drecree
