Irelia's new passive, does it apply the shield break portion before or after the auto attack damage?

In other words, is this efficiently applied?

For example: Irelia has 100 AD, and her passive is fully stacked and does 10 damage on hit. The enemy has 0 armor/mr, and a Janna shield on them for 30 damage.

  • Will her AD apply first, causing her to break the shield, and then deal the remaining 70 AD and 10 on hit damage?
  • Or will the on hit apply first, dealing 30 damage to the shield, and then the full 100 AD afterwords?

I'm at work so I can't test this. Thanks!

From what I tested, it appears the bonus damage to shields apply first

Mordekaiser I guess Riot changed thier stance and now encourage hard counters

Applying the on-hit damage first is the only way that makes sense, tbh.
